Obituary

Giulio Fiorino, known to his family and friends as “GF Man”, born March 8th,1947 passed away peacefully on September 14th, 2026.

Giulio immigrated from Sardegna, Italy, at a young age and has played a pivotal role in many lives. Giulio was a young pioneer who never finished high school, instead flourishing in his career. Giulio has always been a self-made man, starting his path as a diamond setter and jewelry store owner in New York. He never strayed from this path, and as he moved to Central Florida, he owned many successful restaurants. More recently, he has been the proud owner of G’s NY Pizza for 18 years here in our local Clermont community.

Besides his love for his family, he shared a love of music and poetry. He expressed himself through his poetry and matched it with artistic drawings. Giulio loved watching sports; he could always be caught watching soccer, football, tennis. However, soccer was always his favorite - rooting for the Italian National Soccer team. A few of his other favorites are the Pittsburgh Steelers, and tennis player Alexandra Eala. He also loved watching horse racing, especially the crown races.

Giulio is survived by his first wife and friend Carol Fiorino. He was a loving father to his children, Michelle Fiorino-Ragni (Frank Ragni), Anthony Fiorino, and Peter Fiorino. He was a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren Alyssa Ragni, Cassandra Ragni, Mia Fiorino, and Nicholas Fiorino.

In lieu of flowers the family would encourage a donation to one of his favorite charities, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital StJude.org or Boys Town https://donors.boystown.org

His family would like to invite friends to his Celebration of Life on Sunday, September 20th, from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. at Becker Funeral Home. 806 W. Minneola Avenue, Clermont, Florida 34711
