Gerard William Gotimer, 54, affectionately known as "Gerry" passed away September 23, 2011. He was born November 21, 1956 in Long Island, NY son of the late Harry Gotimer and Patricia O'Connell Gotimer. He served in the US Navy for six years and received his BS in Engineering, working in the communications field. On November 6, 1999 he was united in marriage to Jennifer Simcox in Stamford, CT. He resided in Minneola, FL since 1999, was a Little League coach, member of the Church at South Lake and member of IEEE and NRA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Pamela. Surviving is his wife Jennifer; children Gerard, Jr., Abigail and Jacob; siblings Daniel (Sharon) Gotimer, Davidsonville, MD; Kathleen (Mark) Garlasco, Granby, CT; Harry (Teresa) Gotimer, Severna Park, MD and Patricia Gotimer, Hartford, CT, 2 nieces & 5 nephews.



The funeral service for Gerry Gotimer will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 28, 2011 at Church at South Lake. Pastor Brian Hammond will officiate.
