Obituary
July 7, 2018. He enjoyed vacationing in the North Carolina mountains, watching baseball and cowboy movies
and spending time with his two grandchildren, Nick and Abby.
Gerald was born on July 3, 1935 in Whitesburg, Kentucky to Culbert and Nancy Thomas. He graduated from
New Point High School in 1955. He married Linda Joyce Wolfe in 1969. Gerald retired from the Walt Disney
World Company after 17 years.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Linda Joyce Thomas; children, Anita Thomas of Baltimore, Maryland and Robert
(Andrea) Shrader of Minneola, Florida; grandchildren, Abigail and Nicholas Shrader; siblings, Shelby Bockover
and Richard Thomas of Greensburg, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by parents Culbert and Nancy Thomas and siblings Gobal Thomas and Nina Mozingo.
A funeral is scheduled for Friday, July 13 at 2:00 PM at Becker Funeral Home at 806 W. Minneola Avenue,
Clermont, Florida 34711 and will be officiated by Pastor Paul Hatcher. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. All
are welcome to attend and celebrate Gerald's life.
