Obituary
Gerald Lloyd Shepard, 78, of Minneola, FL passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012. Gerald was born in Umatilla, FL on May 23, 1934, the son of Melvin and Nadine (nee Davis) Shepard. He was a lifelong resident of South Lake County, graduating from Clermont High School in 1953. He worked in many professions before retiring as part-owner of a telephone repair service.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Patricia whom he married in 1955; daughters, Teresa and husband Mike, Sonya and husband David and Julie and husband Tim; siblings, Gene Shepard, Ernie Shepard and Margaret Stokes; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Gerald's life will be held at 11AM Friday, November 16, 2012 at Becker Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be private at Oak Hill Cemetery, Clermont.
