Obituary
George T. York, 90, of Leesburg, FL passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013. George was born in Detroit, MI on October 2, 1923, the son of Motto and Ellen York. He was a retired electrical contractor and had lived in the Central Florida area since 1993. George served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and was a Catholic.
George is survived by his nephews, John Clark of Mascotte, FL, Robert York of Charlotte, MI and Richard York of Maryland. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Geraldine in 2007.
Mr. York will be interred with his wife in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, MI.
