GEORGE ERVIN MCDANIEL 75 of Clermont Fl. passed away September 1st 2013. He was born November 12, 1937 in Tifton Ga. to parents Henry Alvin and Vennie Roberson McDaniel. Survivors: his wife of 53 years, Shirley Barber McDaniel, sons, Ben E. McDaniel (Kathy) of Lakeland Fl., Neal McDaniel (Tammy) of Clermont, Fl., Lee Y. McDaniel of Oviedo Fl., and Chris McDaniel (Brandy) of Minneola, Fl. Grandchildren: Zack, Josh, Madison, Kallie, Hannah, Jordan, Rachel, John, and Riggins all held a special place in papa's heart. Sisters: Sharon Rooks of Tifton, Ga., Sandy Young of Tennille, Ga. and two brothers Elwood McDaniel of Groveland, Fl., Larry McDaniel (deceased). Attended Alabama Christian College in Montgomery, Al. and Rollins College in Winter Park, Fl. Retired from AT&T Technologies after 30 years of service and became a cattle rancher. A Christian by faith, a avid reader, history buff, woodworker, and storyteller to his grandchildren.
