IN LOVING MEMORY OF
George W.
Farley Ii
August 29, 1963 – February 12, 2017
George W. Farley II, age 53, of Clermont FL went home to be with The Lord on February 12, 2017. George has joined his parents, George and Trecia Farley, as well as his brother, John Farley. He leaves behind his widow, Jacki (Washburn) Farley, daughter Austi Farley and two sisters Chyrel (David) Cool and Cynthia (Tim) Fitzpatrick, as well as his in-laws, Ron and Jayne Young, his step-mother Marsha Farley and his dearest friends, Tracy Berkley, Andrew Rice, and Chris Brocious. Also, are brother-in-law, Jim (Amy) Washburn, sister-in-law Jodi (Lance) Vinci and several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and step-siblings. His non-blood family are too numerous to mention, but the joy of his life is three year old Addison Farris.
George enjoyed volunteering to help any person, church, or ministry, especially with his handiwork and cooking skills. He will be remembered for his impressions of animals and cartoon characters, his love of cooking for others, and his quick witted humor. George readily welcomed everyone into his home and to his dinner table including several non-biological children, brothers and sisters who he treated as family and especially young children, his favorite of which were sassy little girls (bonus for red hair).
In honor of the long standing tradition of Farley Family Friday Fun Night, a memorial service will be held for George at Real Life Christian Church (Building A Main Auditorium), Clermont, FL on Friday, February 17 th at 7pm and at Miller United Methodist Church, Johnstown, OH on Friday, February 24 th at 7 pm. Please dress casual and wear bright colors as we celebrate George. Bonus points for his favorites: The Ohio State Buckeyes and anything Christmas!
In lieu of flowers, we would like to help him fulfill his last promise to help his daughter complete her Master's degree which she will be starting in May. Donations can be mailed to the house, sent via facebook or any Fifth Third Bank – George Farley Memorial Benefit. While this may seem selfish, there is nothing more important to him than her and her education. You may also make a donation to any church that promotes Jesus Christ. Please understand that George was a giver – he would much rather you donate your time, money or resources than he would to have flowers. Chocolate – well that's a different story!
