Gene Lamar Beech
Gene Lamar Beech, 84 years old, resident of The Terraces, Bonita Springs, FL., went to be with his Heavenly Father Monday, June 24, 2019.Gene was a beloved husband, son, brother and uncle. He was a devout Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Orlando where he and his wife of 58 years Patricia Ann (Pat) lived for many years. Gene retired from FMC Corporation where he had worked for over 30 years, and worked part-time after retirement at UPS and as a realtor until his health started failing. He served his country proudly and loved music, especially listening to and singing gospel music in his beautiful baritone. Pat preceded him in death as well as his mother, Mary, father Raynor, sister Charlene Beech, Brother Ray Beech, all of Jackson, MI, and sister, Sarah Finch of Tyler, TX. Gene was born on September 29, 1934 in Jackson, MI.
Gene is survived by his second wife Dorothea French Beech, his brothers Jim Beech (Dorothy), Jerry Beech, sister Marie Harnishfegee, sisters-in-law Janice Flagg, Mary Lou Middlebrook, Carolyn Brunk (Tom), and Donna Stockamp, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service on October 18, 2019 at 1 o'clock at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513.
