Gary Keith Pierce

October 3, 1962 – March 17, 2021

Gary K. Pierce, 58, died in a car accident on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 24 ^th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W. Minneola Ave, Clermont.

Gary was born in Hollywood, Fl to Marvin Carrol Pierce and Mary Nell (Shaver) Pierce. Gary grew-up in Ft. Lauderdale and graduated from Stranahan High School where he lettered on the varsity football team. Shortly thereafter, Gary joined the United States Post Office where he was a letter carrier for more than 30 years. He retired in 2018 and he and his wife, Debbie traveled around the country in their new travel trailer before settling in Clermont. In Clermont, where he was know as "Gary P." , and in Ft. Lauderdale where he was know as "The Postman", Gary enjoyed being with people and making them laugh. Many of his friends shared his enthusiasm for singing karaoke. Gary also loved sports and was a big fan of the Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Volunteers.

Gary is survived by his wife, Debbie and her son, Eddie; his son Eric and ex-wife, Valerie (Matt) Sespaniak; his brother Tony and his wife Liz and their children, Lee and Erin.
