Gary M. Cimock, 64, of Clermont, FL, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his family. Born on December 20, 1951 in Jackson, MI to Theodore & Katherine (Branigan) Cimock, Gary moved to the area with his family in 1995, coming from Northern Virginia. He was a retired Unit Manager at Coleman Federal Prison here in Florida, along with being a graduate of Michigan State University and a Catholic. A lifelong passion for body building, which started at age 16, led to many accomplishments, including winning the 2004 All-Natural Body Building Champion. Survivors include his beloved wife, Melanie of Clermont; his loving children: a daughter, Amanda Suzette Murphy (Brant) and a son, Alex Cimock, both of Clermont; his three sisters: Anne Trienstra (Dick) of Dearborn, MI, Jeanne Meszsaros (John) of Ann Arbor, MI & Carol May (Scott) of NC; his two brothers: Mark Cimock (Debbie) of South Haven, MI & Kevin Cimock (Kristen) of Clermont; and his two grandchildren: Jane & Reagan. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm at The Clermont City Center, 620 W. Montrose St., Clermont, FL 34711.
