Frieda Gunther Hartfelder, 95, of Clermont, FL passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 under the care of Hospice. Frieda was born on October 22, 1917 in Yonkers, NY, the daughter of Jacob and Theresa (nee Rollwagen) Gunther. Frieda moved to Clermont in 1999 with her husband Frederick J. Hartfelder who preceded her in death in January of 2000. Frieda was a retired secretary and a member of Woodlands Lutheran Church, Montverde, FL.
Frieda is survived by her children, Frederick W. Hartfelder and wife Janet of Streetsboro, OH and Joyce F. Curtis and husband Paul of Clermont; sister, Phyllis Reilly of Grandville, NY; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Frieda's life will be held at 10AM Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Becker Funeral Home. The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials in Frieda's name to Woodlands Lutheran Church, 15333 CR 455, Montverde, FL 34756 or Cornerstone Hospice of Orange Co., 8009 S. Orange Ave., Orlando, FL 32809.
