Obituary
Frederick Thomas Houston Wilbanks, "Ted" age 95, Groveland, passed away June 20, 2015 at Cornerstone Hospice Tavares. He was born January 14, 1920 in Sobal, OK son of Minnie & Robert Wilbanks. He served in the US Army & US Air Force and was a central Florida resident since the 1930's from Hawkins, TX. He was a farmer and member of Tuscanooga Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his wives, Midge Dent Wilbanks & Mary Pitts Wilbanks; sons Frederick Wilbanks, Jr. & David Wilbanks; eight siblings & great-grandchildren Isabella Wilson & Aaron Bultema. Surviving are his children Alan Wilbanks & wife Mary of Groveland; Ann Claudy & husband Bob of Orlando; Mike Wilbanks & wife Janice, College Park & Greg Wilbanks of South America; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are:
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Tuscanooga Baptist Church, followed by burial in Tuscanooga Cemetery. Brother Bill Hamilton will officiate. The family suggests memorial contributions to Cornerstone Hospice.
