Obituary

Frederick William Fallman Jr. was born on May 21, 1934 and passed away peacefully on Apr 23, 2021.  Fred was born in Birmingham, AL and grew up in Sylacauga, AL.  He excelled at Sylacauga High School and later graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering.  With degree in hand and his wonderful bride (Jane) at his side, he started a 32 year-career with Martin Marietta.  He moved with his job to Orlando, Fl in 1957 and became an expert in contract financial forecasting.  In his off-time, he became a master gardener, leader in his church, and Boy Scout leader for his sons' troops.  In retirement, his donation of time and efforts for a variety of causes such as Kiwanis, Hospice, and Faith Neighborhood Center was well known by his community.  A perfect example of this was his annual donation of potted begonias for all the mothers in attendance at our church services on Mother's Day. Of the thousands of plants he purchased and planted, he certainly gave away thousands more.

Fred was predeceased by his wonderful wife of 61 years, Jane.  He is survived by his four sons, Fred (Cindy), Frank, Sam (Nicki), and Paul (Debbie). He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Melissa Oliver, Samantha Fowler, Tori Fallman, Jason Fallman, Sydney Fallman, and Shelby Fallman.  As well as his four great grandsons, Liam Oliver, Finn Oliver, Declan Fowler, and Clement Fowler.

Due to concerns for Covid-19, there will be a graveside service for family only.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests you give a plant to someone you love.
