Dad was a strong man of integrity. He cared about doing right by others even if they didn't always do right by him. Dad was a family man; a loving and devoted husband; and caring and loving father. He worked in Public Works for the City of Groveland for 20 years and the City of Mascotte for 8 years. Dad was very knowledgeable in all things of utilities from testing the city's water to repairing busted water mains. Dad and his crew kept the city clean and beautiful. Dad was a simple, old-fashioned "Georgia Boy."Dad loved working in his yard; riding his John Deere tractor; keeping the pasture mowed; and grating the dirt road. Dad loved taking care of the animals on his farm. Dad loved planting gardens of an assortment of fresh vegetables. Dad was always improving his home for his family and took a lot of pride in both his home and work life. We will miss you very much dad and mom will miss you too. We know one day we will see you again. We love you dad!
