Schmidt, Frank B., 83 of Clermont, Florida passed away Monday, September 17, 2012. He was born November 18, 1928 in Lakeland, Florida and retired from Chrysler Parts Depot in December 1990 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont.  Preceding him in death were his son Eric, his brother William Schmidt of Sarasota, Florida and his sister Grace Guziak of Port Huron, Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Theresa and his sister Teddy Banting (Peter) of Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, his daughter Sheila Johnson (Randy) of Portland, Oregon, his two grandchildren Emily Johnson of Portland, Oregon and Alexander Johnson of Boston, Massachusetts and great-grandson Lamar Alexander Strickland of Portland, Oregon as well as many nieces and nephews.



Mass of the Resurrection for Frank Schmidt will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior, also at the church.
