Francis (Frank) Robert Frech Jr., 75, of Groveland Florida, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, at Norfolk General Hospital. A celebration of life service will take place at Becker Funeral Home on December 15, 2025, at 1 p.m. Interment with full Military Honors will be held Tuesday, December 16, 11am, at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in April 1950, Frank joined the US Navy out of high school before serving over 25 years as a respected US civil servant and was known for his dedication and commitment. He loved traveling, being in the sun, reading, and spending time with those he loved over a good meal, especially if it included cherry pie. Frank was a kind and understanding father and friend to all who knew him. His sunny disposition and natural happiness will be greatly missed.

Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan Bonnie. He is survived by his wife Florence; his sister Rosemary Leary; his children: Susan Marie and her husband Troy, Patricia Anne, Jason Louis and his wife Sara, and Jerry Daniel and his wife Dana; his stepchildren: Toni Lynn Kirsch, Laura Graham and her husband Kyle, Frank Arndt, and Brian Arndt; and his grandchildren: Kristen, TJ, Joey, Adam, Noah, and Amanda.
