It is with profound love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Francis Henry Cavone,Sr., who passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2025, at the age of 76, surrounded by his family.

Francis was born on May 15, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Mary and Paul Cavone, who instilled in him the values of family, hard work, and love that he carried throughout his life.

Francis waited until his entire family was gathered around him before letting go, leaving this world wrapped in love. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 55 years, Philomena Cavone, a proud and loving father, and an adoring grandfather whose greatest joy in life was his family.

He was the father of Francis Henry Cavone, Jr., and Danielle Marie Cavone (Chris), and a cherished father-in-law to Sharon Cavone. He was a deeply proud grandfather to Nicholas Cavone, Anthony Cavone, Francis Cavone, III, Dominic Cavone, Christopher Cavone, Nina Sanese-Cavone, and Joseph Sanese-Cavone, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Francis fought an incredible fight with strength, courage, and grace. Through a lifetime of hard work, sacrifice, love, sweat, and tears, he raised a strong and loving family who will carry his legacy forward every day.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and has become another angel watching over us. His love, values, and devotion to family will live on through all who were blessed to know him.

We love you beyond words and will honor you every day of our lives.

A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2026, 1pm, at St. Faustina Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10am until 12pm at Becker Funeral Home.
