France Lorraine (Rainy) Meyer of Clermont passed away Monday March 30. Rainy was born July 31, 1945 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She was an Elementary school teacher in Miami, Dade County for 30 years, the she worked for Walt Disney World merchandising for eight years. She was an amazing woman who spent her time volunteering at the South Lake Animal League thrift shop, the South Lake Presbyterian Church food pantry, and has been involved in feeding the homeless in the Clermont area for many years. She is survived by her sister Marjorie L. Maxwell, Brother Clifton M. Meyer, sister Barbara Walts and several nieces and nephews. She gave generously to many charities in the area. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Lake Presbyterian Church Food Pantry.



There will be a visitation held Monday, April 6, 2015 from 7-9 PM at Becker Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM in South Lake Presbyterian Church, 131 Chestnut Street, Clermont, FL, with Pastor Drew Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
