Forrest Robert Jones, Sr., 82, Groveland, passed away March 18, 2013 at home. He was born July 25, 1930 in Helena, AR son of Helen Manning & Forrest Rebel Jones.  A local resident since 1959 from Mobile, AL, he was a parts & service director for a Ford dealership. He was a member of Church of Christ and former trustee for Sumter County Electric. His wife Pattie Sue Jones preceded him in death on November 30, 2010. Surviving are his children Larry (Mary Ann) Parker, Christmas, FL; Vicki (Danny) Ridley, Winter Garden & Forrest Robert "Robby" (Candy) Jones, Groveland; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren & brothers Leonard Jones, Grand Prairie, TX & Gordon (Jean) Jones, Sr.



The funeral service for Mr. Jones will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the graveside in Mascotte Cemetery. Chaplain Mickey Meyer will officiate.
