Obituary

Fay entered the Army in 1975 and retired in October 31, 1995 with 20 years completed on active duty. She served four tours overseas and also spent several years in Texas at Fort Hood in Killeen, at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, and at the Military Entrance Processing Center in Houston. She travelled to many countries among them Korea, Germany, Japan, Panama and Holland. Fay held two military specialties, Administrative Specialist and Finance Specialist. She received recognition for her hard work by being awarded several awards - The Meritorious Service Medal, The Joint Service Commendation Medal, 3 Army Commendation Medals, 6 Awards of The Army Conduct Medal, The NCO Professional Development Ribbon, The National Defense Service Medal and The Army Service Ribbon.

Fay was also an expert marksman on the M16 Rifle. These awards only tell part of the story. Fay loved the Army and always gave 110%. She approached her worked in the same way that she approached friendship and the way she loved her family. In Fay's presence you knew that she listened and that she cared.

Fay lived and believed in the "Army Values" - LOYALTY, DUTY, RESPECT, SELFLESS SERVICE, HONOR, and INTEGRITY AND PERSONAL COURAGE.

Fay would help wherever needed and was also completely fearless on any new adventure.

Fay was full of faith and loved her God - she always knew she was never alone.

Sintámonos felices por nuestra hermana y amiga que partió, habiendo logrado sus metas y dejando un gran legado para el mundo. Fue una gran persona que nos hará falta siempre. Gracias por ser una gran bendición para todos.
