Obituary

Fallon Kay, was born on January 9, 2013 in Orlando, Florida, to her loving parents, Ryan Kay Mendell Painter and Jim Painter, III. She was lovingly welcomed by Zsa Zsa, Debra Kay Irwin, Papa Joe Clinkenbeard, "G.M." Margo Painter, great-grandmother Lorraine Koelling, Papa and Nana Mendell, and Grandma Flo.

Fallon was our treasure. From the moment of her birth she was a bringer of joy . . . a true free spirit. Fallon was surrounded by love and she fiercely loved her family. Her inner light shown through her beautiful smile and welcoming nature. Fallon saw no color, no difference, in the people she encountered. Everyone was welcomed into her world.

She was a lover of animals, just like Zsa Zsa, and her favorite color was pink. Nothing felt better to Fallon than a dip in the pool usually lasting more than an hour; she loved swimming. Her future career plan was to be an animal doctor, and she was receiving training through her favorite show, "Paw Patrol." Her favorite songs were "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider", "Jingle Bells", and "The Wheels on the Bus"; she especially loved the part when "the kids on bus go wah, wah, wah." Fallon loved "Hymn for the Weekend", which she called "The Bird Song".

Already she was following in the family tradition of creativity: coloring, drawing, and making. She was an angel who blessed everyone she encountered, lent to us by God for three years, nine months, and twenty-one days. God needed his angel back.

We feel a great, empty space . . . that should be filled with more . . . with life, with smiles, with love . . . and with Fallon. She was at the beginning of what her life would and should be. There are so many milestones that our dear Fallon will never experience like her first lost tooth, her first dance, or the chance to pursue a dream. Debbie and Fallon's lives were stolen by a senseless act of irresponsible behavior, which can never be understood or explained. Their legacy will continue with the Fallon Kay Painter and Debra Kay Irwin Foundation. We are thankful that Fallon is with her Zsa Zsa now and we can only live believing that we will all be together again someday.
