Obituary

Evan Douglas Foster lived a most amazing life.

Evan, 47, of Clermont, Florida, passed away November 12.
Evan was born April 12, 1977 in Subiaco, Western Australia and was raised in Perth with his
loving family, Glenda, Barry, and Verity Foster. After finishing school, Evan started an extremely
successful career that took him to live and work all over the world, culminating as Director of
Forensic Accounting at Sedgwick in Florida.

In 2019, Evan met Stephanie in Winter Garden, Florida. He shared in the love and care of her
three children, Jacob, Sam, and Abigail. As a family and with their dearest friends, Evan and
Stephanie lived an exuberant, adventurous life doing all the things they loved, including
traveling, boating, hosting joyous gatherings (sometimes even with fireworks), and sitting in the
den together watching TV. Together, they brought and created a lot of joyous moments.
December 13, 2022 was a milestone day for Evan as it was the day he became a US Citizen. It
was a long realized dream for him and took an impressive amount of work and dedication from
him to make it happen.

Evan was the warmest, most fun, and giving person to all that he loved. He made sure everyone
was comfortable and had what they needed. He lived well. He did everything he wanted in 47
years and was finally content to spend time in his home with his family taking care of his
beautiful front lawn. It became the best on the block and he left instructions that it should remain
so.

Evan was predeceased by his mother, Glenda Foster (nee Cochrane.) He is survived by his wife,
Stephanie Foster; children, Jacob, Sam, and Abigail Mayuski; father, Barry Foster; sister,
Verity Foster; and niece, Eden Rose Foster.

Services will be held at Becker Funeral Home on December 12 from 4:30-6:30. In lieu of
flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Education Foundation of Lake County
https://edfoundationlake.com/, an organization that supports public education in his community.
You may also send mail to TSIC, 2045 Pruitt Street, Leesburg, FL 34738. We respectfully ask
that those who feel inclined to donate specifically select the Take Stock in Children Scholarship.
Your donation will continue his legacy of giving and taking care of others.
