Obituary

Eugene Williams, 72 years old, went to be with God on Saturday, November 21, 2015 in Fort Meyers, Fla.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 3pm at The Becker Chapel 806 West Minneola Ave., Clermont, Fla. 34711 with Reverend Dawn Carter, Minister of Pastoral Care, First United Methodist Church of Clermont leading the Services. Visitation is from 1pm til time of services.

Eugene passed away from a massive cardiac event, and by the grace of God, he was surrounded by the ladies in his life until the last beat of his heart, his wife, Annis; daughters, Estelle and Debbie; and granddaughter, Savina.

Born in Bronx, NY from his predeceased parents Eugene Sr. and Estelle Williams, Eugene met the love of his life, Annis, and married her on June 27,1964. Eugene and Annis resided in New York but later moved to New Jersey to raise their family. Eugene and his surviving wife, Annis, moved to Florida after their daughters graduated from school. Eugene and Annis traveled for work most of the time. Eugene became acquainted with many over the course of his travels.

All of those that met him felt an instant connection from the moment he flashed his warm smile. He was known as one of the most empathetic, caring, relateable, and respectable men among his peers. Eugene's love for wildlife was just an extension of his amazing and nurturing personality. He became an avid nature activist, protecting wildlife and the environment regardless of where he went.

He leaves to cherish loving memories, his wife, Annis Williams; his daughters, Estelle Gilham; Debbie Williams-Siraj; his Grandkids, Amir Siraj; Jawaad Siraj; Savina Gilham; Nabeel Siraj; Zakeer Siraj; cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. His abrupt departure from us leaves us cherishing the lasting impression he has left on the world.
