Ernie Michael Moore, 57, passed away suddenly on February 7, 2014. He was born on September 22, 1956 in Riedenburg, Germany to Ernest Barry Moore and Aline Iris Moore. He has been a Florida resident since the age of two. He began his career at Disney watercraft where he met his wife of 29 years Ronda Sue Moore. They have two daughters, Lindsay Aline Shay (husband Jimmy), and Chelsea Noel Moore, and a beloved dog, Chip. He is also survived by his sisters Wanda Melby (husband Darryl), Marilyn Weeden (husband Warren), and brother Gary Moore (wife Vickie). Ernie was a very loving husband and father who enjoyed photography, astronomy and the University of Florida, Gators. He had a passion for coaching and made a great impact during his life as a softball coach. He was looking forward to being a grandfather soon to Savanna Brooke Shay. After 25 years working at Disney, he transferred to Smart City for 12 years. Ernie leaves behind a family and friends that care deeply about him. Although gone, he will never be forgotten. Service will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 4:30 PM at First United Methodist Church, Clermont. The family will receive friends starting 4:00 PM.
