Erik Lee Norman, age 48, of Clermont, Florida passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017.  Erik was born on May 31, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Gary Norman and Linda Reynolds. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Biblical Studies from Liberty University.   Erik married Joann (Hall) Norman on May 27, 1995.  They lived in Jacksonville, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia prior to settling in Clermont, Florida.   Erik was a member of Real Life Christian Church and a teacher at Real Life Christian Academy in Clermont.

Erik was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.  He was a devoted Christian, wonderful role model, mentor and inspirational teacher.  Erik reached many lives as Director of Summer Camp Ministry and by volunteering in children and student ministries.  Students and parents describe Erik as kind, funny, and caring.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Joann and beloved daughters Sydney & Emma; father Gary Norman, step-mother Linda Norman, & mother Linda Reynolds; sisters Kelly & Carolyn; and five nieces & nephews.
