Eric Andrew Domenech was born on December 2, 1998, in Rhode Island. He spent much of his life in Staten Island, New York, and Clermont, Florida. Everywhere he went, he carried pieces of the people he loved and the experiences that shaped his life.
Eric leaves behind his father, Efrain Domenech, his wife, and their children; his mother, Cristen Delgizzo; his sisters, Jaquira Domenech, Gabrielle Domenech, Kiara Domenech, and Daysia Domenech; his brother, Isaiah Washington; and his grandparents, Noeme Rodriguez, Pete Rodriguez, Efrain Domenech Sr., and Robert Delgizzo. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.
To know Eric was to know someone with a truly big heart. He had a smile that could light up a room, a laugh that was impossible not to join in on, and a sense of humor that could make even the hardest days feel a little lighter. He had a way of making people feel welcome, understood, and loved. Whether through a conversation, a joke, or simply being there, Eric left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Like all of us, Eric faced struggles in life, but through them he held on to his faith. He confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and that faith gives us comfort today. While our hearts ache because we miss him so deeply, we rejoice in knowing that he is now at peace, free from every burden, and resting in the presence of the Lord.
Though our time with Eric was far too short, the love he gave, the memories he created, and the joy he brought into our lives will never fade. We will carry him in our hearts every day, and we hold on to the promise that this goodbye is not forever. By God's grace, we will see him again.
Services will be Friday, July 17, 2026, 11am, at Becker Funeral Home. The family will recieve friends from 10:30am until 11am before the service. Interment will follow at 12:30pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Clermont.
13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord,[d] that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.
