Obituary
Emily (Zering) Rochette, beloved wife of the late Chester Rochette, died March 1, 2016, 22 days short of her 100 th birthday. She was born in New Britain, CT on March 23, 1916 daughter of Adolph & Pauline Zering. Emily has 9 children including Emily Sklodosky, Loretta Rosenberg, Lois Packard, Audrey Koss, Chester Rochette, Victor Rochette, April Schulze, Edward Rochette, & William Rochette; 36 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; one sister Evelyn Brenner & several nieces & nephews.
Emily was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Hebron, CT and Woodlands Lutheran Church in Montverde, FL. Her faith and family were the most important thing in her life.
The funeral service for Mrs. Rochette will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, March 4, 2016 in the Becker Chapel with Reverend Dr. Milan Weerts officiating.
Further services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at St Matthew's Lutheran Church followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery in New Britain, CT.
