Obituary

Our beautiful daughter, Emily Rose Fisher, 22 (Jan 20th 2002 - Jan 8th 2025) peacefully passed at the Mike Conley Hospice House, after a long courageous fight with APS1. Emily was surrounded by us (Brian and Sarah Fisher and her siblings, Ella Rose, Chloey, and Owen Fisher).

Emily showed so much strength, love, grace, and fight for life. She had such a spunky personality that always made us laugh!  She was little but mighty💕

To see her beautiful smile, and hear her belly laughs was priceless. Her strength and courage always shined through.

Emily truly has a heart of gold and always put everyone else first. She loved helping others so much. From delivering Happy Feet, to lifting someone's spirits, to her amazing hugs, and her listening ears, her compassion and empathy always shined through.

Being her parents is the biggest blessing we could ever ask for. Emily is the best big sister to her siblings, loving them so much just as they love and admire her. We see a beautiful piece of her in each of them.

She will always be our amazing daughter and best friend. She truly is an example of pure love, and always put others first.

We are so thankful our daughter's best friend, Renee. They made so many wonderful memories togther.

Emily was blessed with her aunts and uncles that adored her, Keshia, Betsy, Sabrina and Chelsea;  Uncles, Uriah, Robbie, Eddie, Chris, Joe, and Paul; Emilys cousins brought so much joy to her, Peyton and Parker "The little P's", Charleigh, Willow, Alisha, Samantha, Adriean, Riley, and Landon; Emily loved her grandparents, David and Beverly Fisher; Great Grandmother, Rose Brown; Rob and Michelle Huebner, and John Cosgrove.

We know that she will be greeted by many great grandparents, great aunts and uncles in heaven as well as someone near and dear to our  hearts, Marleen. She will be excited to see Max and Elmo her golden doodles again.

We will continue her legacy of Emily's Happy Feet and we will carry everything we learned from her to spread love, compassion and joy to others. We will be doing more for other families whose children are affected by rare complex illnesses.

Emily wanted to always travel to all the states to be a blessing at the Children's Hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses to other families through her foundation and that is what our plan is to do!

We will be having a service in Florida for close friends and family and a celebration of life in Ohio in the coming months.

Thank you to all of those who have loved and supported our daughter and her foundation. For those that asked how they can support Happy Feet to contiue her mission there is a link placed below .

Thank you all for your love and support for our daughter and our family. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

As Emily would say, the show must go on, slowly but surely.

Love,

Brian, Sarah, Ella, Chloey, and Owen.
