Emilia M Guzmán, 72 of Groveland Florida, passed away on January 22, 2023.

Emilia was born on June 7, 1950 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico and was raised in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Ruben and Marcelina Valentin. Emilia graduated from Clara Barton High School and had a long career in the Medical field retiring from SUNY Downstate Medical Center University Hospital in New York.

Emilia is survived by her children Melyssa, Albert, Stephanie, Monica; grandchildren Gabriel, Joshua, Lyssa, Elijah and Baby Gabriel; great grandchildren Luca and Anthony and siblings Luz, Dominick and Jay.

Emilia was a Christian, beloved worshiper. Our mom was everyone's nurse, therapist, social worker, secretary and the Gorilla glue that kept everyone together. Our mom's door was always literally open. There was always something cooking at mom's house. She raised everyone with her favorite Farina cremita. She was our very best friend, mom, Belita and Millie to everyone.

She will be greatly missed! May she sleep with the Angels. Until we meet in Heaven.
