Elizabeth "Betty" Seaver Magruder, 87, of Lakeland, FL passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011.  Betty was born on January 12, 1924 in Clermont, FL, the daughter of Robert Percy and Winnie (nee Hooks) Seaver.  She worked as a medical transcriptionist before retiring.

Betty is survived by her sons, Walter M. Magruder of Austin, TX and Allen B. Magruder of Lakeland, FL; sisters, Nellie Seaver of Clermont and Dot Lassiter of Gainesville, FL; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Maxwell Magruder, Jr.; son, Fulman P. Magruder and brothers, Judd Seaver, Oakley Seaver and Leonard Seaver.



Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 16th at Becker Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Lone Oak Cemetery, Leesburg, FL.  Visitation will be held from Noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
