Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Henderson, born on August 22, 1943 in Long Island, NY, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024 in Minneola, Florida.
Betty Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.  She came to Ferndale, Florida with her family when she was seven years old.  She met her husband in her teen years and together they raised three children.  She and her husband ran a country store in Ferndale, Florida during the 1970's and were the hosts to many cookouts for family and friends at their home in the 1980's.  She was a great southern cook, and everyone looked forward to her made from scratch buttermilk biscuits.  She volunteered with the South Lake FFA Alumni and chaperoned trips for the South Lake FFA Chapter.  Her hobbies included playing cards "Canasta" with her family and watching Hallmark Christmas movies.
Betty Ann is survived by husband (Harold), children (Terry Henderson, Gary Henderson, and Denise Henderson); daughter-in-law (Anna Henderson); grandchildren (Nikole Lionelli and Kansas Bernat).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Montverde Community Center located at 17404 Sixth St, Montverde, FL, 34756.
