Elizabeth (Betty) DeBruno gained her angel wings on January 28, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by many who loved her. Betty was 83 years old. She was born in New Jersey where she met the love of her life Phil DeBruno. In 1996 Betty and Phil relocated to Clermont, FL where they enjoyed the sunshine and warmer weather.  Betty loved to attend her grand/great-grandchildren's Football games, Cheerleading competitions and dance recitals. She also loved going to Sanibel Island.

Not a day went by where Betty didn't talk about how much her family meant to her. Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband Phil, her sister Laura, as well as her parents. She is survived by her daughters Debra Gargano (Nino) and Donna Harrop (Bert), her sons Phillip DeBruno (Lisa) and Richard DeBruno (Michele); her sister Noreen; her 11 grandchildren: Danielle Burke (Taylor), Joseph Gargano (Jacquelynn), Michelle Muzia (Benjamin); Daniel and Thomas DeBruno; Richard (Amber), Anthony, and Christian DeBruno; Jonathan, Benjamin, and Jillian Harrop. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren Alexis, Hailey, and Preston Burke; Anthony and Massimus Gargano; Peyton, Gage, and Delaney Muzia; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who all loved her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 11:00 am at Oak Hill Cemetery 801 East Avenue Clermont, FL 34711.  At this time she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Philip A. DeBruno.
