Obituary
Elinor Suggs Carr, 87, of Clermont, Florida, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Services will be private, with interment at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Elinor was born on July 12, 1931 in Columbus, Georgia, daughter of the late Homer Griffin Suggs and Martha Roberts Suggs. She was a 1948 graduate of Columbus High School. She relocated to Florida in 1997 to be near family.
Elinor is survived by her husband, Roger Alton Carr of Clermont, Florida; daughters Lynn Watson Norfleet (Ian) of King George, VA, Lee Watson Lombardy (Warren) of Winter Garden, FL, Karen Carr Gale (Ken) of Wichita, KS, Catherine Carr Lee (Tony) of South Hadley, MA, and Kimberly Carr Morris (Kevin) of Cape Coral, FL; son Davis Ronald Watson, Jr. (Julia) of Ocala, FL; grandchildren Andrew Philpott (fiancée Jenny) of Atlanta, Michael Gale (Sarah) of Alexandria, VA, Katherine Philpott (fiancé Drew) of Bluffton, SC, Sarah Gale McQuery (Brian) of Newton, KS, Davis Ronald Watson, III (Meg) of St. Petersburg, FL, Colin Lee (fiancée Patricia) of Urbana, IL, Mary Ruth Watson Harding (Greg) of Atlanta, Rachel Lee of Providence, RI, Shannon Morris of Tallahassee, FL, Joshua Morris of Lexington, KY, Georgia Lombardy of St. Petersburg, FL, Caroline Lee of Amherst, MA, and two great-grandchildren, Calvin Gale and Isobel Lee.
