On the morning of October 3, 2021, Eileen Marie Sasse of Ocoee,  Florida, died at the age of 97. She was born in1923 to Henry and Frieda Wolfe in Pigeon, Michigan. She enjoyed growing up on her  parents farm in the thumb. After graduating from Owendale High School, she completed two years of business school and moved to  Midland, MI, and worked as a secretary. In September 1944 she  married Robert Sasse and together they raised four children, Gail, Kenneth, Paul and Judy.

Eileen enjoyed spending time with her family, church, bible study,  sewing, knitting, biking, traveling, and golf. Eileen was an unusually strong woman. She was strong physically, she was strong mentally,  she was strong emotionally, and she was strong spiritually. Her strength undoubtedly allowed her to live a long and wonderful life.

Eileen is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, daughter Gail,  sisters Ina Pearl and Nelda and brother Lloyd. She is survived by  sons Kenneth (Patricia) and Paul and daughter Judy (A.J.). She is  also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.  A funeral service will be held in November in Midland MI, with details  to be provided later.
