Eileen Bowen, 93 of Clermont, Florida died October 7th, 2024 following a prolonged illness.
Eileen was born December 1, 1930 in Gallia County, Ohio to Daniel Jacob and Pearl Slagle Alban.
She was the baby girl of four daughters in her very loving family. She was blessed to live as a
farm girl in Ohio until the family decided to move to Clermont, Florida in 1945. She lived in
Clermont the remainder of her life.

Eileen met Robert Pool within a few days of coming to Florida. They married September 28th
1946. They had three sons, Robert Alban, Daniel Jacob and Alan Joseph. She was such a
devoted and loving mother to her three sons.

She was blessed later in life to also have two daughters Margaret Pauline "Polly" and Shelly
Rhodanna with her second husband Razz Bowen, who she married November 5th, 1963. They
were married 53 years prior to Razz passing February 2017. She loved her daughters dearly and
was a very dedicated, loving and caring mom. There was truly nothing she wouldn't do for her
five children; she adored each one of them.

Eileen loved people and especially her five children, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen greatgrandchildren and her many nieces and nephews ("Aunt Eileen").

Eileen never met a stranger; she loved life! She loved going and doing, enjoying her friends and
family at all her favorite places-- playing bingo at the Elks Lodge and the American Legion. She
was granted the status of lifetime honorary member at the South Lake Elks Lodge 1848 of
Clermont. She was a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, American Legion and more. In
her younger days she did a lot for these organizations with volunteering, giving and always
working hard for them to help them be successful.

Eileen was so loved by so many, anywhere she went everyone made over her and filled her with
lots of love and attention. She truly was one of a kind and always made a statement wherever
she went. She always filled a room with love, laughter, kindness and her beautiful smile.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Dorothy Jean Campbell, Margaret
Pauline "Polly" Lane and Phyllis Marilyn Simms.

Eileen is survived by her three sons and two daughters Robert Alban Pool (Beverly),Daniel Jacob
Pool (Elaine), Alan Joseph Pool (Katherine), Margaret Pauline"Polly"Bowen Strawbridge
(Mark),Shelly Rhodanna Bowen Young (Bryan) and her thirteen grandchildren Lisa Pool Jensen
(Eric),Bobby Pool (Marcie), Danny Pool, Dana Pool Frey, Lilli Pool Hiley (Ben), Alicia Pool Hanlon
(Jon), Olivia Pool, Heath Wayne Strawbridge ( Melissa),Seaira Strawbridge Fritzpatrick (Mikey),
Shellby Madison Young, Bryan Owen "Bo" Young II, Rhodanna Pearl "Anna Pearl" Young, Lyla
Faith Young and her thirteen great-grandchildren.
