Edwin Dwaine Silva Jr.

Born August 3, 1967 in Manhattan, New York, passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2023. For some he was known as Edwin, for others Eddie but for us he was always Dwaine. Dwaine was born to Elba and Edwin Silva. Growing up he enjoyed surfing in Puerto Rico, fishing in Connecticut and Florida and helping others in life. Dwaine was a one of a kind, a handy man and would help anyone. He was full of life, loved to joke around, had an amazing smile, had an infectious laugh and loved to spend time with his family.

Dwaine is survived by his mother and father Elba and Edwin Silva of Minneola, Fl. His siblings Adrienne Silva of Orlando, Fl, Bruce Silva of Waterbury, Ct, and Cheryl Munoz of Minneola, Fl. Also his 3 nephews and 1 niece: Noah, Dominic, Matteo, and Isabela. His grandmother Nilda Badillo of Aguadilla, PR. Most importantly, his one and only son that he was so proud of Kyle Silva of Watertown, Ct. His daughter- in- law Rebecca Batista and his 2 granddaughters that he loved and adored so very much, Isla and Elodie Silva.

Dwaine will be remembered as a loving and amazing father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, godfather, brother- in- law, and friend. He was an all around genuine, loving and humble person. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends, and will never be forgotten.
