Edward E. Ward passed away on April 29, 2011 at his home in Clermont, Florida. He was born  June 24,1932 in Sylva , North Carolina. Ed is preceded in death by his wife, Ersilia Pone Ward; parents, Glen and Carrie Ward of Sylva; sister, Polly Wolffer of Sylva; brother, Jim Ward of Sylva; and brother, Glen Ward of Canton, N.C. He was retired from General Motors in Flint, Michigan.

He is survived by brother, Darnell Ward  of Ft. Myers, Florida; sisters, Nell Warren and Pat Karkosky of Sylva, N.C. and many nieces and nephews.

Ed was an avid golfer who also enjoyed cooking Italian food made from recipes acquired from his wife and her Italian family and he liked to travel.



A memorial service and burial will be held at Good Sheppard' Memorial Garden in Ocala, Florida.
