Edward "Jack" Valentine
January 15, 1943 - April 9, 2023

Jack was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He worked for the city of Chicago for 41 years and
was a proud member of Local 150 Operating Engineers. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing,
woodworking, shooting, and spoiling his granddaughters. In 2019 he moved to Florida which
was his happy place. He loved to cook and bake for family and friends in his new home. He has
been married for almost 57 years to Mickey, whom he met in 1965 at Circle Bowl in Forest Park.
Together they loved to travel with his favorite destination being Mexico.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife Mickey, a loving father of Donna Valentine and John
Valentine (Darlene), a devoted grandfather of Kate and Alli Valentine, the loving brother of
Katherine Dahl (Buck), and a loving uncle to Velvet, Vicky (Johnny), and Scott Dahl.
