Edward C. Benson, Jr. , 91, of Clermont, passed away at home surrounded by loving family on April 3, 2022, after contracting Covid-19.  He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on April 15, 1930, to Edward C. Benson, Sr., and Theresa A. (Antlitz) Benson.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  After the Army, he joined Lockheed-Martin, retiring after 32 years in 1989.  Retirement allowed him to pursue his many hobbies of woodworking, raising orchids, genealogy, gardening and his love of trains and clocks.

Mr. Benson is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda; his daughter, Laura L. Crouse; and three grandsons: Edward, Michael, and Alexander Crouse.
