Our dear mother, Edna May Lindley, sadly passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 87.  She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance.

A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community in Woodlands at Church Lake in Groveland, FL, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.

She was predeceased by her loving husband and soulmate, Dennis Ray Lindley; wonderful son-in-law, Alan Johnson, Jr., three sisters, Ann Carter, Betty Shoppell, and Kathy Finn; and three brothers, Jim Finn, Mick Finn, and Ronnie Finn.

She leaves behind her five children, Dusty Lindley (Rhea), Diana Houghton (Wes), Pamela Nyen (Gerald), Randy Lindley, and Debra Johnson (Alan sadly left us too soon).  She had 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren, among countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, from 6:30pm until 9pm at the Woodland at Church Lake Clubhouse, 1124 Heritage Park Drive, Groveland, FL  34736.  Interment will take place Monday, February 24, 2025, 11:30am at Florida National Cemetery.
