Edna Mae Alexander Archbell, 79, Grovleand, passed away January 2, 2014. She was born August 16, 1934 in Groveland daughter of Dorothy Hunt & John A. Alexander and was a lifelong resident. A caregiver, she held memberships at Tuscanooga Baptist Church & Mascotte Missionary Baptist Church. Her siblings Earl & Elbert Alexander & Edith Miller preceded her in death. Surviving are her children D.J. Archbell, Mascotte; Vonn Laree Archbell Brown & Deborah V. Archbell both of Groveland; Gwendolyn Faye Harms, Lewisburg, TN & Julie Joy Votour, Mascotte; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren & siblings Edwin Alexander, Clinton, AR; John Alexander, Hillsboro, TN & Eunice Tarrents, Christieanna, TN. The funeral service for Edna Archbell will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Tuscanooga Baptist Church. Pastors James Madison, Raymond "Runt" Robbins & Bill Hamilton will participate in the service. Burial will follow in Tuscanooga Baptist Church Cemetery.
