Edmond Biagio Mondini, 78, Clermont, passed away April 17, 2011 at South Lake Hospital. He was born January 12, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY son of Edmond Mondini & Lena Durante Mondini. He served int the US Marines during the Korean Conflict. On June 4, 1955 he was united in marriage to Annette Arcona in Brooklyn. He was a telephone cable splicer. A local resident since 1991 from Long Island, NY, he was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church & the Korean War Vets. He served as a guardian ad litem for a number of years, piloted a ferry at Walt Disney World and volunteered at South Lake Hospital & Give Kid's the world. Suviving is his wife Annette & children Edmond S. Nondini, Centereach, NY & Linda Wall & her husband Craig of Siler City, NC.
The memorial service for Ed Mondini will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the graveside at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in his name to Give Kid's the World or American Heart Association.
