Obituary
James Douglas "Doug" Underwood Jr., 62 of Bushnell, FL passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at his residence. Doug was born on September 13, 1954 in Lakeland, FL, the son of James Underwood SR. and Betty Sellards. He graduated from Clermont High School in
1974 and attended Valencia Community College.
Doug resided in Clermont for 57 years where he raised his two daughters, Alicia and Amy with ex wife, Bonnie. He was employed by Winn Dixie for 35 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Clermont. Doug relocated to Bushnell, FL in 2012 where he later retired.
Doug was preceded in death by his father James Douglas Underwood SR. Doug is survived by his daughters Alicia McNabb and Amy Underwood-Martorelli (Chris Martorelli), mother Betty (David) Sellards, brother Greg (Peggy) Underwood, grandchildren Tyler, Jacob, and Alyssa McNabb, extended family members, as well as countless dear friends. The family would like to thank Kristy Oudshoff, Paola Delvalle, Dan Wynn, Alan Brackett, Frankie Mobley, and all those who helped care for him.
