Doris A. Magdics, 93, of Clermont, FL passed Sunday, October 9, 2011.  Doris was born on May 30, 1918 in Corry, PA, the daughter of Archie and Lola Akam.  She was a longtime teacher retiring from that profession.  Doris moved to Clermont in May of 2005 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Clermont.

Doris is survived by her brother, Archie Akam; nieces and nephews, Cydney Clemmer, Kurt Hausmann, Shelley Hausmann, Kim Tabor, Mark Hausmann, Nancy Ardizone, Charles Mehrmann, Kelly LaTorre, Thomas Mehrmann, Sharlene Gianfortune, Archea Ferrara; special caregiver, Richard Ardizone and many other loving family members.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, sisters, Lucille Hausmann and Gloria Mehrmann and niece Linda Botten.



Funeral Services will be held at 10AM Saturday, October 15th at 1st United Methodist Church, Clermont.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.  She will be interred with her husband in Green Haven Memorial Park, Canfield, OH.  The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials to the Lane Purcell Hospice House, 2452 CR 526E, Sumterville, FL 33585.
