Doris Noreene Creech was born to Cecil and Doris Creech in Ferndale, Florida on June 12, 1930.

She spent her formative years growing up in an orange grove planted by her grandfather Henry Zittrower, who was a pioneer orange grove planter in the Ferndale area. She and her younger sister Joyce Ann began attending school in Ferndale on a site donated by her grandfather and later attended school in Clermont.

She graduated from Clermont High School in 1948. After graduating she worked in downtown Clermont. She later took a job as a secretary/clerk in a lumber yard in Clermont.

She met and married the love of her life, Willie Creech and their partnership started Willie Creech Plumbing. Noreene set up and managed the business office for Willie Creech Plumbing.

She loved to attend the yearly Clermont High class reunions to visit and reminisce with the close friends whose friendship she cherished.

She was a dedicated member of The Ferndale Baptist Church where she worshiped every Sunday, attended bible study, and attended fellowship gatherings.

She lived in the home that she and Willie (deceased 1996) owned until 2015. She moved to Crane’s View Assisted Living and remained there until she passed on March 16, 2026.

Noreene was a very thoughtful and caring person. She cherished her friendships and enjoyed the simple things in life.
