Donna May Petersen, known as “Mimi,” entered into the arms of the Lord on October 5, 2026, surrounded by family.

Donna graduated from Neenah High School and raised her family in Neenah before moving to Waupaca, where she lived on the Chain of Lakes. She enjoyed biking, swimming, boating, kayaking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her dogs. She traveled throughout the country and to Paris. Donna was a longtime member of Shepherd of the Lakes.

In her later years, Donna lived in Florida with her good friends Linda, Lisa, and Katie, where she enjoyed the warm weather and time at the pool.

Donna is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Leslie) Gerhardt, Jennifer (Mark) Thomsen, Margie (Tom) White, Dan (Nancy) Petersen, Sue Gerhardt, and Brian Erdmann; grandchildren, Lucas, Cole, Andrea, Brittany, Christopher, Kayla, Lauren, Ella, Colleen, Patrick, and Drew; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mary (Donnie), Vicki, and Marge (Ken).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Virginia; brother, Donald; son, Danny; daughter, Jackie; husband, Ken; and special friend, Jerry.
