Donna Marie Macaione

February 2, 1953 – April 27, 2026

Surrounded with love, Donna Marie Macaione, of Clermont, Florida, passed away at age 73 of complications from lung cancer.

Donna was born in Gorgas, Panama, the 2nd of four children born to Anthony and Mabel Macaione. She was raised in Franklin and Walpole Massachusetts, played varsity softball and field hockey at Walpole High School.

She went on to work as a nurse assistant in a nursing home. After which she worked in manufacturing as a machine operator at Kendall Mills making surgical products. Years later she followed her family to Clermont Florida where she launched a 25 plus year career at Walt Disney World in Transportation. Where she piloted ferry boats, Monorails and retried as a Bus Coordinator.

She left a place in the hearts of her family and friends through her love of animals, sports and life that she shared.

Donna is survived by her brothers Ken, Paul, and Tony, and beloved nieces and nephews (Rachael, Melissa, Kristen, Chelsea, Jenna, Brian and Jason). And 10 grand nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026, 11am -1pm at Becker Funeral Home in Clermont, Florida with an after service gathering at The Salt Shack.
