Donna M. Singer Gilbert, 73, of Clermont, FL, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at Vitas Suites and Hospice Center at Orlando Lutheran Towers.

She was born June 24, 1949, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late George R. Singer and Madeleine M. Fisher Singer. She graduated from Champion High School and was employed by General Motors for over 35 years as a Sourcing Specialist. Donna was dedicated to her faith, was a compassionate activist for animal rights and environmental efforts, and her love for big cats was second to none. She loved to be outside shooting and fishing with her family.

Out of everything she did for others, her favorite thing to do was anything with her grandchildren Madeleine and Mason, especially rooting for them on the field, court, or diamond.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Tracy) Gilbert of Groveland, FL; granddaughter, Madeleine Gilbert and grandson, Mason Gilbert, both of Groveland, FL; sister, Georgia Scott of Sharpsville, PA; sister, Toni (Rick) Ives of Warren OH; and Gary Gilbert of Clermont FL.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022, 1pm, at First United Methodist Church of Clermont.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 5pm until 7pm at Becker Funeral Home.
