Obituary
Donald G. Weaver died peacefully on April 20, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born 93 years ago in Honolulu, Hawaii and lived with his wife Peggy Weaver for 68 years. Don Weaver, at first an electrical engineer that quickly followed his passion for community service into social work, was known to the Clermont community for that continued passion as a board member and volunteer at agencies that addressed adult day care, positive social politics (AARP and Southlake Democrats) and mentoring students for years at Clermont Elementary STEM program. He will now be just as passionately missed by his children and many grand and great-grandchildren and friends alike.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to Clermont Elementary School, 680 East Highland Ave., Clermont, Florida 34711.
The family chose to hold a private memorial service in Maine at a later date.
