Donald Kenneth Smerklo, Born October 23,1934, Passed away peacefully at VA Nursing Home in Land O' Lakes, Florida on September 23,2024

He attended Fairleigh Dickinson College.

Donald was in the Army from 1955 to 1963, Honorable discharged on August 31,1963

Donald's parents were Michael Smerklo and Helene Blosko.

His ancestry was second generation Ukraine. Both sets of grandparents were born in Ukraine.

Beloved husband of Everlyn Hamlin-Smerklo, And loving father of Kenneth Smerklo, Elizabeth Livecchi, And Michael Smerklo. He also is missed by his 14 Grandchildren; His sister Merlene Smerklo and Deborah Walter; Brothers Robert Michael (Deceased), and John Smerklo.

A mass celebration of life will be held at a later date in Toledo, Ohio at the Toledo Diocese Cathedral by his grandson father Jacob Livecchi.
